Here is the map. I have only been as far as Vanderhoof before. Hopefully it is enjoyable today. The weather is not quite as good as yesterday... Oh well.

i didn;t know we could paste maps into posts and still use them as if they were in google. 1.5 hr drive isn;t bad. i think my personal high was something around 8 hrs straight (with piss breaks)

Yeah this is neat! How did he do that? I have always just screen capped maps. But this would be way better for some stuff.

I once drove for 22 hours (24 hours in clock time due to time zone warping) straight through. Grand Junction, CO to Grand Rapids, MI. And that was day 4 of a 4000 mile road trip. I averaged north of 800 miles a day. It was epic. And glorious. And I want to do it again.

The longest drive I have ever done by myself was Ottawa ON-Prince George BC. It took many days, as it’s 4350 kms or 2700 miles.

There is good ice cream in Fraser Lake, just a bit farther... actually ice cream store may be closed in Jan now that I think of it..

Watch for left turners waiting to turn - hwy 16 is bad for that..

You from around here? I just moved up here from ontario. Still exploring. And yeah I was trying to pass some RAV 4 and then the pickup in front of me was like “LEFT TURN” ...damn it. lol..

You should take more time, your accident rate increases quite dramatically after hour 12.

Went to CNC for a year in 2002, then back in town again for another year in 2006.. We lived in the Hart though, not stinky downtown, lol. My wife grew up there.

I would recommend when the weather gets better to do the whole way out to Rupert and even QCI if you can.. We did while we were there and the chances of ever getting back up there are slim..

It’s not a bad part of BC to explore, you’re limited in the winter though..

Oh cool. My girlfriend lived in the Hart for a while. I live near 5th and Ospika if you know it. :) I am planning on driving to the Yukon this summer if I can manage it.

Right by the cop shop? lol. I spent a year in Dawson Creek as well, should’ve gone north while I was up there but I was working in bushcamps out of Ft Nelson and just wanted to spend my off days staying inside.

Haha it’s understandable. We are kinda far away from the cop shop but those are the two closest big streets anyways.

But then it isn’t as fun. Also it meant another hotel. Most likely in nebraska. Fuck nebraska.

Nebraska is the only state I’ve been to that I can say with certainty I will never visit again.
